座头市在旅馆遇上一病危少妇，受托带其儿子良到前原宿寻父。途中，二人遇上身份神秘的赤冢，并领教了其高超剑术。抵达目的地，盲侠发现孩子的父亲庄吾受当地恶霸权造的威迫，从事不法勾当。此时，赤冢也暴露他朝庭官员的身份，并要将庄吾绳之于法。盲侠为了良的将来，被迫拔出佩剑与赤冢一战……。有腳疾的阿忠（喜翔飾）執意開車去屏東，彥博（鄭有傑飾）無奈之下只好載阿忠前往，父子倆一路沉默不語，關係疏離而遙遠。途中車子突然故障，兩人因此再次回到媽媽的故鄉—苑裡小鎮。媽媽過世後父子倆鮮少回來，對小鎮的變化和很久不見的親戚， 兩人都非常陌生。眾人言談間，當年的事又再次被提起……。。One day, thinking that it will make your wife and friends smile, you shave off the moustache that you have had for the last ten years. Viewers who like their conclusions tidy may rebel, but those who relish outstanding performances in the service of an intriguing idea will be entertained.
