A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。时间是2045年，故事的舞台是日本制造的太空站“安心”，在月球出生的少年“登矢”和儿时玩伴“心叶”为了移居地球而在太空站进行复健，但他们却和首次到宇宙旅行的地球孩子“大洋”、“美衣奈”、“博士”一同被卷入了太空站与彗星的冲撞事故。在与大人们隔绝，网络也被切断的封闭空间中，时而冲突、时而互助的孩子们，必须共同面对减压、EVA（宇宙游泳）、微型机械失控等种种困难。。
