The film is a dramatic re-enactment of real-life events that took place in 1968 in the small village of San Miguel Canoa in Puebla, México. The group was viciously set upon by villagers who had been manipulated by a local right-wing priest ...。沈未冬父母双亡，在舅舅家过着寄人篱下的生活，舅舅破产带着一家人跑路，把沈未冬送给了债主季寒，此时季寒正被家里催婚，季母对儿媳妇的要求极为严格，而沈未冬竟然能把季家人哄得团团转，季寒因此与她订下为期一年的结婚协议……。男主角伦随母亲从大城市芝加哥移居小镇贝农，该镇人民的生活和思想几乎都控制在古板的摩尔神父手中，对来自城市的伦不太友好。伦也对这种欠缺时代精神和违反人性的生活不以为然，并总想通过自己来改变小镇，于是引进了热门的音乐舞蹈，最终和摩尔神父发生了冲突。。
